TdF2015 Day Sixteen

There are always two scheduled ‘rest days’ during the Tour. Personally, I save them for when I need them, so that’s why there’s no ‘day fifteen’ 😉

Today was a ‘rough’ (vast understatement) day, but I did get a massive amount of spinning done.

007Finished up one spindle full and started the second for this project.

Letsee… the day started off with thirty minutes of spinning after breakfast… we left the house. On the way there we received a few phone calls but didn’t answer on time (thought nothing of it). When we reached our destination a family friend ran up to tell us that my mother had been in a car accident and three of my siblings were with her. The next few hours were a mess of trying to find her, trying to find the kids (another family friend passing by picked them up; eventually we all met up at the hospital). Long story short, the people are fine, the car is totaled, and I spun another half hour or so in the waiting room.

After that… ran a couple errands… rushed home because of an impending storm… binge-watched NCIS on Netflix while spinning while a MASSIVE thunderstorm raged outside (did I ever mention how much lightning terrifies me? No?) There’s the possibility of the storms restarting/continuing all night, so I doubt I’ll get much sleep.

Total of five and a half hours of spinning.
