TdF 2015 Summary

Finished yarns in order of when they were completed + any prizes they may or may not have won.

1.) “Mister Wolf”

  • Was awarded fiber + a crochet pattern

2.) “The Mad Hatter Rises Again”

  • BFL/Silk/Romney/Alpaca/Bamboo/Polwarth/Firestar/SW Wool/
  • Skein One is 156 yards, Skein Two is 94 yards, and Skein Three is 32 yards
  • Skein One won fiber, Skein Two won a crochet pattern, Skein Three did not win a prize.

3.) “Pirate Ship in a Bottle”

  • Finished July 22nd.
  • Alpaca/Shetland/Merino/Silk
  • 98 Yards
  • Won a copy of a spinning magazine.

4.) “Captain’s Honor”

5.) Banana Fiber (Plantydex)

  • Since this was started before the Tour, I did not enter it for prizes.

7.) “Four Scoops”

  • Finished July 26th.
  • BFL/Finn X Lambswool
  • 176 Yards
  • Won a fiber prize.

Total hours spent spinning:

64 1/2 hours (!). Since this was spread over a total of 22 days of spinning, I averaged almost 3 hours of spinning a day 🙂

I’d consider this Tour a success 🙂
