Just a quick blog post to let you all know I’m still around! I managed to misplace my camera, so no proper blog post right now, but I can quickly go through what I’ve done recently and add photos once I track down my camera 🙂 Letsee…
-Worked way too many hours at work 😉 I’m mostly kidding– I survived, after all– but it was a lot, and it took about a full day and a half to recover. This week might be slightly similar, all them last minute holiday shoppers… *sigh* At least it paid for my replacement phone (my current phone, both the ringer and the vibrate aren’t really working anymore, and the storage capacity is shot. Technically I could wipe the whole thing and go bare-bones, but it’s 3+ years old, so I might as well just replace the stupid thing lol)
-Today I washed 5+ pounds of wool 😀 Most of it is breed studies, but a few cardables made it into this rotation as well. We’ll see how it goes 😉
-I also finished carding my British Shetland fleece today 😉 It’s fabulous; I can’t wait to spin it!
-…and I managed to stab one of the joints in my left thumb with my doffer brush. It is now swollen and inflamed and hurts like crazy 😦 Can’t always have good news, I guess.
Well, that’s it for right now. Next time there’ll be pictures! 😉
ETA: Oh yeah. I may or may not have bid on a couple of Cotswald lamb fleeces on Ebay. Watch this space.
